Frank Halliday was born in Yorkshire more years ago than he will admit to and has painted all his life. After following a successful business career which took him all over the UK, he finally settled in Norfolk, where he has been able to focus on his passion for painting. His love and enthusiasm for painting have drawn him into lecturing, demonstrating and running workshops for those who want to paint for themselves.

Frank has had one-man exhibitions in Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Norfolk and throughout the Carnival Cruise ships displaying works mainly in watercolours. His paintings have sold successfully to collections in Europe, America, Australia and throughout the UK. Three of Franks watercolours entitled "Norfolk Skies" have been published as limited-edition prints. He has written two easy to read books on watercolour painting, produced six videos on how to paint, appeared on television, and even been featured in Painting on the Radio for the BBC!

Frank has worked professionally for Winsor & Newton as their main demonstrator, tutored workshops for several arts and leisure magazines, demonstrated at Earls Court, Design Centre Islington, the Excel Centre in London, NEC Birmingham, Metro Centre Newcastle and all the major shows around the country. He is also in great demand on the cruise ship circuit. His dry sense of humour and artistic skills mean that his workshops are always over-subscribed.
